Miller House School in Leicester is seeking a dedicated Maths Lead Teacher for a permanent, term-time role. The position offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum dependent on experience. You will deliver engaging Maths lessons within a multidisciplinary team, potentially taking Form Tutor duties and supporting pupils’ development and family engagement.

Qualifications

About the school

Miller House School is a brand-new specialist SEMH setting located in Stoneygate, Leicester. The school opened in September 2025 with a capacity of 80 pupils and provides co-educational provision for young people aged 11 to 16 with complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health difficulties, autism and ADHD. The school is part of Acorn Education and Outcomes First Group, which was certified as a Great Place to Work for the sixth consecutive year in 2025.

The role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Lead Teacher to join our specialist school. This permanent, term-time-only position is offered at 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary of up to £45,000 per annum depending on experience. The role commences in November 2026 and is open to UK applicants only, with no sponsorship available.

As Maths Lead Teacher you will deliver creative and engaging lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence in numeracy, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. You will work as part of a skilled multidisciplinary team and may also take on the role of Form Tutor, providing pastoral support and building strong relationships with families and professionals.
