Job summary

London South East Academies Trust’s Bromley Beacon Academy is seeking an experienced Mathematics Lead to join its SEMH provision and drive excellence in maths teaching and leadership. The role combines curriculum leadership with direct teaching and pastoral support for vulnerable learners.

You will develop an ambitious maths curriculum, support colleagues, and use trauma-informed approaches to help pupils progress.

Qualifications

• Experienced and ambitious Maths Lead with a track record of improving outcomes in SEMH settings.
• Ability to lead development of a maths curriculum and support colleagues to deliver high-quality provision.
• Will teach mathematics, provide pastoral support as a tutor, and use relational approaches to remove barriers to learning.
