Job summary

Priestley Primary School is seeking an experienced, dynamic and ambitious teacher to lead the core subject of Maths across the school. You will drive school improvement, lead curriculum development and support colleagues in delivering high-quality maths education.

The role requires a qualified primary teacher with significant leadership experience and a passion for raising standards for all pupils through inclusive pedagogy.

Qualifications

• A qualified primary teacher with significant experience.
• A passion for raising standards for all pupils, through inclusive pedagogy.
• Demonstrable experience of raising school standards and leading curriculum development.
• Suitably skilled and resilient to drive school improvement and managing sustainable change.

Responsibilities

• Develop Maths teaching across the school.
• Raise standards of pupil attainment and achievement.
• Support and develop the teaching practice of colleagues.
• Monitor and evaluate curriculum impact and pupil progress.
• Contribute to whole school strategic planning and improvement.
• Model outstanding classroom practice and professional conduct.
• Collaborate with Senior Leadership Team to drive school priorities.
