Job summary

Hampton Bridge School is seeking a dynamic Maths Lead to advance numeracy across the school, teaching Maths up to GCSE and providing oversight of the Maths curriculum as part of our Community Ready pathway.

You will support colleagues in delivering Maths through our Enterprise Learning project-based curriculum, develop resource plans, and drive quality assurance. Strong Maths qualifications and middle leadership experience are required, with a collaborative coaching approach.

Qualifications

Maths Lead - Hampton Bridge School

Hampton Bridge School is a specialist school for students pupils aged 6 – 19, set on the edge of Northampton city centre.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic Maths Lead who is open to learning a modern approach to teaching pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative Maths practitioner who is passionate about Numeracy and would like to work within a progressive and innovative curriculum.

The Maths Lead will teach students in the third phase of our curriculum, Community Ready, including those on accredited pathways so must be able to deliver Maths up to GCSE level as a minimum.

They will also have oversight over the Maths curriculum for the whole school, they will provide subject specific plans, resources and quality assurance.

A key part of their role will be supporting colleagues to deliver Maths through our project based curriculum, Enterprise Learning.

There are excellent opportunities for career development, cross group networking and to be part of our research focused work within this role. You will also be part of establishing the Spaghetti Bridge curriculum at our brand new school.

Candidates will:
