Job summary

Abbeyfield School, part of Creative Education Trust, seeks a permanent part-time Lead Practitioner in Mathematics across Key Stages 3–5. The role focuses on modelling outstanding teaching, coaching colleagues, and driving curriculum and assessment improvements within a supportive trust-wide network of 17 schools.

You will analyse student data to inform strategies, raise attainment, and champion evidence-informed approaches while maintaining high professional standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree and QTS.
• Proven ability to analyse student performance data.
• Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead improvement in mathematics across the department and wider school.
• Model outstanding classroom teaching and secure excellent outcomes for students.
• Support and coach colleagues to enhance teaching practice.
