Job summary

Outwood Grange Academies Trust in Tees Valley is seeking a One to One Tutor to deliver intervention programmes in the Maths department, preparing learning experiences and materials, and reporting pupil progress.

The role requires a graduate or AS/A2 level or qualified teacher, with excellent communication, time management, and computer skills. Experience in a school environment is desirable, with access to CPD opportunities and supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 level in a relevant subject or be a qualified teacher.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, alongside strong time management and organisational skills.
• Essential abilities include supporting students with science work up to GCSE level and having a working knowledge of standard computer packages.
• Experience of working in a school environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver intervention programmes to individuals within the Maths department, preparing learning experiences and resources.
• Develop suitable intervention material, lesson plans, and resources.
• Report on individual pupil progress and liaise with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback.
• Support exam revision sessions and comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.
