Job summary

Outwood Academy Bishopsgarth is seeking a One to One Maths Tutor who will plan, implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for individual students. You will deliver intervention programmes, encourage academic growth, and promote the academy’s inclusive ethos.

The role requires a Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 level, or a qualified teacher, with excellent communication, listening, time management and organisational skills. Experience in a school is desirable.

Qualifications

• Graduate in a related subject or AS/A2 level in a relevant subject, or qualified teacher.
• Excellent communication and listening skills, with strong time management and organisational abilities.
• Working knowledge of standard computer packages; school experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum for individual students.
• Deliver intervention programmes and assist in developing learning materials and lesson plans.
• Report pupil progress and liaise with the Head of Department and teachers to provide feedback.
• Support exam revision sessions and comply with Child Safeguarding Procedures at all times.
