Are you confident in maths and passionate about helping students build their skills and confidence? A vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Chorlton is looking for a Maths Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team in September.
This rewarding role involves working with students who need extra support in maths, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and make measurable progress.
Deliver targeted 1:1 and small group maths interventions, both in and out of lessons
Support students to develop numeracy skills and exam techniques
Work closely with the maths department and SEND team to identify learning gaps
Track and report on student progress
Help create engaging and accessible learning resources
Strong maths skills (A-level maths or equivalent desirable)
Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
