Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking a Maths Graduate Learning Mentor to support secondary school pupils. You will work closely with students on a 1:1 and group basis, planning and delivering effective interventions while providing in-class support within the Maths department.

The role runs long-term from September with ongoing training and development opportunities. A Maths-related degree with a 2:1 or higher is required, along with a strong academic background and a personable, patient attitude.

Qualifications

• Maths degree with at least 2:1 classification.
• Academic background at A-levels is desirable.
• Experience in academic settings (e.g., TA, tutoring) is beneficial.
• Personable, patient and passionate about helping students.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis.
• Plan and deliver targeted interventions to improve maths outcomes.
• Provide in-class support within the maths department.
• Cover maths lessons when needed.
• Role starts long-term in September with interviews now.
