Job summary

Explore Learning is hiring on-site tutors to support children aged 4–16 across the UK. As a tutor you’ll coach small groups (1:6), foster a love of learning and progress through the national curriculum using Compass.

This is a permanent, part‑time role (min 6 hours/week over 2+ weekdays). Base rates start: Under 18 £8.40, 18–20 £10.90, 21+ £12.75, with an extra 0.50 per hour inside the M25. You must be UK‑work eligible and GCSE Maths/English grade 6+.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths and English grade 6 or above (predicted grades accepted).
• Ability to lead sessions with small groups (1:6) and manage behaviour.
• Commitment to safeguarding and a long-term role across the academic year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons using Compass to tailor sessions.
• Build meaningful relationships with each child.
• Support progress across the national curriculum and GCSE prep.
