Job summary

Explore Learning is seeking a part-time tutor to coach and mentor learners at our Redhill centre. You will deliver sessions using Compass, tailoring lessons to each child’s pace and needs, and foster a love of learning in small groups.

You’ll support children aged 4–16 with the national curriculum, 11+, and GCSE preparation, building lasting relationships and promoting safe, engaging learning environments. This role is permanent and on-site.

Qualifications

• Age 16 or over with right to work in the UK.
• GCSE Maths & English grade 6 or above (or predicted).
• Ability to work with learners aged 4–16 across the national curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sessions tailored to each child’s pace using Compass.
• Build meaningful relationships in a 1:6 tutor-to-child ratio.
• Support progress in the national curriculum, GCSE preparation, and related milestones.
