Job Description
We are seeking qualified tutors for 1-1 tuition up to GCSE level in Mathematics and English. Successful candidates must possess either a PGCE or PCET qualification.
These roles support EOTAS students (Education Other Than At School), who are not currently attending mainstream education or are working towards re-entering the system. Some pupils may have Additional Learning Needs (ALN), including Autism and emotional, behavioural, and social difficulties. Experience in supporting students with these needs, along with pastoral care experience, is preferred.
The successful applicant will join the Engagement, Wellbeing and Attainment team in Rhondda Cynon Taff, working with pupils at home or in Learning Centres. This is a hybrid role, mainly supportive with some teaching and guidance when necessary.
This position is for 3 days per week, with potential to increase hours or become full-time with supply work on free days. Access to transport is essential for travelling to pupils' homes and learning centres.
