Prospero Teaching is looking for English & Maths Tutors to deliver bespoke tuition sessions on a 1:1 basis to young people who are currently without a school placement or struggling with education.

The successful tutor must be able to create, plan, and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge gaps in the pupils' education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

The student (Year 8) faces challenges in Basic Maths and English. The main focus areas include speaking, listening, punctuation, and fundamental Maths concepts.

Opportunity Details:

Location – 1:1 Face-to-Face Tuition, Gatenby (DL7)

Time – Weekdays, 8am to 4pm, 10 hours a week

Tutors must:

1. Possess UK classroom/mainstream teaching experience or hold a QTS or equivalent.
2. Be creative, patient, and willing to think outside the box.
3. Have the right to work in the UK.
4. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
5. Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the past 2 years (2022 to 2024).
