Elevate Supply is working in partnership with secondary schools in Birmingham to recruit a confident and capable Maths Cover Supervisor.This is a great opportunity for a graduate with a strong academic background in mathematics or a related subject to gain valuable classroom experience on a supply basis.

Role Responsibilities

Deliver pre-set Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students in the absence of the class teacher

Support student understanding and promote independent learning

Maintain a calm and focused classroom environment

Provide brief feedback on lesson delivery and student progress

Work in line with school policies and contribute to a positive school culture

Candidate Requirements

A degree in Mathematics or a related subject (essential)

Experience working with young people in education is preferred

Confident classroom presence with strong communication and leadership skills

Professional, proactive, and supportive approach to behaviour management

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
