Job summary

Keighley College is seeking a Maths Course Leader to join our Study Programmes team and lead mathematics delivery from Entry Level to GCSE. You will develop the maths curriculum, support colleagues, and ensure high standards of planning, delivery and assessment.

You will monitor progress, identify improvements, and work with teams to ensure learners achieve qualifications and progress to further study or employment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• A recognised teaching qualification and a relevant qualification in Mathematics.
• Experience of teaching Maths across a range of levels, ideally including Entry Level, Functional Skills and GCSE.
• Strong understanding of effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of Maths across Study Programmes, from Entry Level through to GCSE.
• Plan engaging, inclusive maths lessons meeting diverse learner needs.
• Monitor learner progress, attendance and achievement with appropriate support.
