Keighley College are seeking a Maths Course Leader to join our Study Programmes team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced maths teacher to lead and develop the delivery of mathematics across a diverse range of learners, from Entry Level through to GCSE.
As Course Leader, you will play a key role in developing the maths curriculum, supporting colleagues and ensuring that programmes are effectively planned, delivered and assessed. You will monitor student progress and achievement, identify areas for improvement, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring that students make strong progress and develop the mathematical knowledge, skills and confidence they need to succeed in their studies, employment and future progression.
You will have a strong understanding of maths education across different levels and be able to engage learners with a wide range of abilities, backgrounds and learning needs. You will be passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and develop a positive attitude towards mathematics.
The role will involve working closely with curriculum and support teams, contributing to quality improvement activity and ensuring that provision meets the needs of our students and the requirements of relevant awarding bodies.
