Job summary

Explore Learning is seeking a part‑time Tutor to work on-site at our Leamington Spa centre. You will deliver sessions using our Compass platform, coaching learners aged 4–16 and helping them progress through the national curriculum and GCSE content.

You will join a supportive team, develop your tutoring skills, and be rewarded with progression opportunities and flexible hours across the week.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that last using Compass to tailor sessions.
• Support learners during a 1:6 tutoring ratio with a focus on progress.
• Assist with exams preparation and core curriculum coverage across ages 4–16.
• Create a safe, inspiring learning environment and manage group dynamics.

The Role

Logistics

Location:This is an on‑site role and you will be based at our Leamington Spa centre.

Contract: This is a permanent, part time role. You will be contracted to work a minimum of 6 hours a week over at least 2 different weekdays. Our available shift start times are:

3:30-4pm Tuesday

3:30-4pm Wednesday

3:30-4pm Thursday

3:30-4pm Friday

Morning/afternoon Saturday

Please note:This is not a summer‑only role; we are seeking dedicated tutors to support our members throughout the next academic year and beyond.

Pay Rates & Progression:

Earn more as you progress!You will start on the base rate for your age group, with an annual opportunity to increase your pay based on the number of hours you have tutored for us.

BaseHourly Rate:Under 18: £8:40

18-20: £10.90

21+: £12.75

*anadditional50p per hour will be added if working at a centre inside the M25. You will be paid for all training and inductions.

Requirements:You must be age 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK. You must have achieved a grade 6 or above in Maths & English Language at GCSE level orequivalent (we accept predicted GCSE grades if you will be receiving your results within the next 3 months).
