Job summary

Brighton College is seeking to appoint a full-time Teacher of Mathematics on a permanent contract, starting April 2027. Applications from candidates available to start earlier or later than this date would also be considered.

The successful candidate will teach maths across the curriculum from Year 7 to A-level and contribute to the department's programme of activities, including extension for keen pupils and support for those finding the subject challenging.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching mathematics to GCSE and A-level levels.
• Ability to contribute to curriculum development and resource creation.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and mentoring colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Teach maths across the curriculum from Year 7 to A-level.
• Develop schemes of work and teaching resources for sharing on OneNote and SharePoint.
• Support the school’s pastoral system and cocurricular activities.
• Contribute to the Masterclass programme and enrichment activities.
