Job summary

Pattison School in Coventry is seeking a Mathematics Teacher to lead planning and delivery across the senior school. You will work with senior leaders to raise standards and support pupils in mathematics.

The role requires a strong maths background, QTS or equivalent, and a commitment to creating a calm, supportive learning environment that helps pupils thrive academically and creatively.

Qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and high-quality classroom practice.
• Experience of teaching mathematics at KS3 and KS4 and GCSE preparation.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• A good honours degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.

About the Role

You will:

• Take responsibility for the planning, delivery and development of mathematics across the senior school.
• Secure high standards of teaching, learning and assessment in line with school policies and procedures.
• As the lead specialist teacher of mathematics, the postholder will work closely with senior leaders to drive standards, monitor progress and contribute to the school's wider improvement strategy.
• Help create a calm, safe, and structured environment that promotes confidence, independence, and learning.
