Job summary

GSL Education Hull Branch is currently recruiting a dedicated Maths Teacher to work within schools across Hull. This role offers an excellent opportunity to inspire students and develop their mathematical understanding through engaging lessons.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or a relevant teaching qualification, have proven experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school, and demonstrate strong classroom management, differentiation skills, and effective communication.

About the Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the secondary Maths curriculum. You will create an inclusive classroom environment, adapt teaching to meet different learning needs, and encourage students to develop strong mathematical understanding and independent problem-solving skills.

Core Responsibilities of the Maths Teacher:

As the Ideal Maths Teacher, You Should Have:

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to differentiate effectively and respond to varied learning needs.
• A passionate, enthusiastic, and committed approach to teaching and supporting student achievement.

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
