Job summary

Job description

Rate: £120+ / day (depends on experience and responsibilities)
Contract: Day-to-day supply
Location: Secondary schools in Crawley / Haywards Heath / West Sussex

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver planned Maths lessons across KS3–KS4 (or other key stages, as required)
  • Follow existing schemes of work and assessments
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Provide constructive feedback to pupils on their progress
  • Liaise with department staff about teaching strategies, interventions, and curriculum adaptation
  • Cover short-term teacher absence while maintaining continuity of learning
Requirements / Advantages:
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification preferred
  • Driving licence very helpful for flexibility across different schools
  • Child-only Enhanced DBS required
