Job summary

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Maternity Support Worker to join the Community Midwifery Team or hospital-based Antenatal clinic, Maternity Day Assessment Unit and Maternity Triage at Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital. You will support care across antenatal and postnatal settings, including breastfeeding support and postnatal home visits.

The successful candidate will have prior maternity experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maternity setting.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Undertakes delegated clinical care duties in hospital, community or other settings.
• Records patient observations and changes to their clinical condition.
• Carries out limited clinical care duties.
• Ensures patient privacy and dignity are maintained at all times.
