Job summary

Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Quality Governance Lead to shape the Maternity Quality Assurance Framework and support MatNeo IST improvements across sites.

You will work with senior leaders to drive governance, patient safety and audit activity, embedding continuous improvement and aligning with national quality standards. This is a pivotal role for delivering safer maternity care.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in clinical governance, patient safety and quality improvement.
• Experience leading complex improvement programmes across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate incidents, complaints and audits into measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead on development of quality assurance framework and MatNeoIst governance outcomes.
• Monitor standards of clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and patient safety.
• Progress the Quality Services Assurance Framework and MatNeoIst milestones with senior leaders.
• Collaborate with obstetric and midwifery teams to drive wider maternity leadership.
• Maintain strong relationships with clinical colleagues across sites.
• Triangulate information to direct Quality Governance, Effectiveness and Improvements.
• Provide leadership to ensure high standards of governance across the service.
