Job description

Maternity Nanny for Twins Hoole, Chester (24-Hour Shifts)
Ref: HN MNHoole
Location: Hoole, Chester
Salary: £500 per 24 hours
Start Date: 21st July 2025 ( dates could be slightly earlier , will confirm asap)
Duration: Ongoing weekly booking 3 x 24-hour shifts between Sunday and Friday ( ideally Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday if possible ) for 4 weeks

Happy Nest Nanny & Maternity Agency is seeking a highly experienced and supportive Maternity Nanny to assist a family in Hoole, Chester, who are expecting twins in July 2025.

This role involves working three 24-hour shifts per week (days to fall between Sunday and Friday), offering essential support and care for the newborn twins. The family is looking for a professional who can help them establish feeding and sleep routines while providing reassurance and guidance during the early weeks as mum has a c-section booked so will need to recover.

The twins will be bottle-fed, using a combination of expressed breast milk and formula. A bed will be available for the maternity nurse to rest in between feeds during the night.

The family also has a 2-year-old daughter, and on working days, you will be required to collect her from nursery as mum will not be able to drive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide full care for newborn twins, including feeding, settling, and establishing gentle routines
  • Support with bottle feeding using both formula and expressed breast milk
  • Offer overnight care to allow the parents time to rest and mum to recover from her c-section.
  • Collect the older sibling from nursery on the relevant working days

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in maternity or newborn care
  • Previous experience working with twins is highly desirable
  • Confident supporting bottle feeding and postnatal care
  • Calm, professional, and flexible approach to family support
  • Enhanced DBS check, Paediatric First Aid certification.
  • A recognised Maternity Practitioner Qualification
  • Excellent references
