The Borgen Project is an international organization working to improve living conditions for those impacted by war, famine, and poverty. With 20 years of experience, it advocates for making poverty a focus of U.S., Canadian, and U.K. foreign policy.

This role focuses on making poverty a priority in foreign policy. It is a part-time, unpaid remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. If your availability is limited, you can complete the programme in fewer weeks.

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading public and political outreach in your state and district.
• Meeting with members of Congress/Government.
• Representing The Borgen Project at events.
• Assisting with fundraising and creating personal campaigns.
• Mobilizing individuals to contact their representatives.
• Speaking to groups and organizations.
• Writing letters of support for key programs.

Experience:

No prior experience necessary. We seek passionate individuals eager to fight poverty, regardless of background or GPA.

Details:

This is an unpaid programme, but college credit may be available.
