The Borgen Project is an international organization working to address global poverty by influencing U.S. and U.K. foreign policy. With 20 years of experience, it has supported legislation benefiting nearly 500 million people in developing countries.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, unpaid, remote programme of 12 hours per week for 12 weeks. You can complete it sooner if desired. The role aims to increase awareness of our work and includes:

  • Creating a branding campaign
  • Conducting market research through focus groups
  • Pitched story ideas to media outlets
  • Developing and implementing a fundraising strategy
  • Planning and presenting informational meetings
  • Utilizing social media and web messaging strategies
  • Supporting advocacy efforts
Qualifications

No prior experience is required. We seek passionate individuals eager to fight poverty and advocate for change, regardless of background or GPA.

This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity, with college credit available.
