Job summary

Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an UHN Maternity Flow Co-ordinator to provide senior midwifery leadership and operational oversight of maternity flow across the site, ensuring safe, effective care for women, babies and families.

The post holder will monitor real-time capacity, staffing and patient flow, coordinate escalation, and work with ward managers and clinical colleagues to maintain safe capacity and service continuity.

Qualifications

• Registered Midwife with current UK registration.
• Degree or equivalent in higher education.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and learning.
• Knowledge of NHS structure and impact on midwifery practice.
• Audit, risk management and patient safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior midwifery leadership for maternity flow.
• Monitor capacity, acuity and patient flow in real time.
• Coordinate escalation and daily operational planning.
• Collaborate with ward managers and clinical teams.
