Job summary

Great Ormond Street Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Flow Coordinator to optimise inpatient bed capacity and patient flow across the Trust. You will work with clinical, nursing and operational colleagues to coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges, ensuring timely access to specialist care.

The role supports effective bed utilisation and maintains high-quality patient pathways, using real-time information and clear communication to balance priorities in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Qualified healthcare professional with registration and relevant nursing/allied health background.
• Demonstrated CPD commitment and postgraduate education.
• Experience with multidisciplinary teams and improving patient pathways.

Responsibilities

• Manage inpatient bed capacity and ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers and discharges with clinical teams.
• Provide operational leadership for bed management and site coordination.
