Job summary

BH Live is seeking a Cleaner to join BH Live Active - The Quays in Southampton on a fixed-term maternity cover from November 2026 to November 2027 (or return of the substantive postholder).

You will follow the cleaning schedule, sign off tasks, store materials safely, and comply with health and safety and COSHH guidelines; training will be provided. Weekend, bank holiday and evening shifts are required to match centre hours.

Qualifications

• A good knowledge of cleaning procedures.
• To be proactive, self-motivated and flexible.
• Experience of working in a customer facing environment.
• Due to the nature of our business hours of work will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings aligned to the centres opening hours.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cleaning as per the cleaning schedule.
• Complete and ensure you sign off the task list as and when jobs are completed to the required standards.
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored in line with health and safety and COSHH guidelines.
• Ensure you comply with all health and safety requirements.
• Attend training as and when required.
