Job summary

Anchor Group Services is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor (Maternity Cover) in Gloucester to lead day‑to‑day cleaning operations at Gloucester Quays. The role involves a hands‑on approach, coordinating 42 hours weekly across a 3 on/3 off pattern, and reporting to the Contract Manager.

Essential experience includes supervising cleaning teams, COSHH and safety knowledge, and strong organisational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning and supervising or leading a team.
• Clear communication skills and a professional customer service approach.
• Understanding of COSHH, health and safety requirements and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily cleaning operations and allocate tasks to maintain high standards.
• Lead, motivate and support the cleaning team and conduct shift briefings.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintenance requirements are followed.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning materials and maintain stores.
• Deliver excellent customer service and liaise with site management and stakeholders.
