Job summary

The Fresh Produce Centre Ltd in Tonbridge, Kent, UK is seeking a Technologist with an ethical focus to cover maternity leave, with potential to become permanent. This role centers on compliance with world‑class supply partners and data‑driven due diligence across the avocado supply chain.

You will collate, present and analyse data in Excel, support category leadership with R&D and packaging improvements, and help translate grower information to customers while maintaining meticulous attention to

Qualifications

Trained in using Excel (advanced level) and comfortable with Pivot tables, Power Pivot and basic formulas.
Intermediate to advanced level in PowerPoint & Word.
Organised with an excellent attention to detail.
Able to understand and interpret customer requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels internally and externally.
Ability to analyse complex data. QA or previous Technical experience would be desirable.

Responsibilities

Collate, present and analyse accurate data to the team for customer communication.
Support due diligence and compliance across the supply chain.
Assist category leadership with value-adding innovation and R&D (e.g., packaging, sustainability, data).
Gain a good understanding of technical operations to support progression.
