Reporting to the Technical Manager, the role offers tailored training, a maternity cover contract with potential to go permanent, and a salary of £35,000–£40,000. The team emphasizes high standards and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Background in fresh produce or food manufacturing in a technical/QA role.
• Ability to interpret third-party and retailer standards.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency with confidence in PowerPoint and Word.
• Strong numerical data handling and compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee grower due diligence ensuring ethical and third-party compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and present data using Excel for internal customers.
• Gain exposure to post-harvest controls and end-to-end supply chain standards.
• Support R&D projects including variety development and sustainable packaging.
• Serve as contact between growers, internal teams, and customers.
