Are you a motivated individual with strong administration and organisational skills? Are you ready to facilitate, support, and coordinate a range of quality and compliance initiatives across Maternity and Neonatal services? We're excited to announce a full-time position as the Maternity and Neonatal Quality and Compliance Support Officer. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with clinical, operational, and governance colleagues, as well as the broader health system, to drive positive change for women and birthing people at Whipps Cross Hospital. Your focus will be on collecting and coordinating evidence to assure regulators that we meet the expected quality standards.

Main duties of the job

  • Support the effective and timely delivery of Maternity safety and improvement programmes, including:
    • Maternity Incentive Scheme safety standards (CNST)
    • Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulation, compliance, and action plans
    • NHSE Maternity and Neonatal Three Year Plan
    • MSSP Recommended actions
    • Quality peer review visits and action plans
    • Complaints process

This includes supporting the Quality and Compliance lead to gather and log evidence, analyze data, prepare reports, and meet deadlines.

Main duties of the job

Skills required:

  • Proven administrative experience, including document management.
  • Ability to plan workload, prioritize ad hoc work.
  • Planning and managing meetings, minute-taking, maintaining action logs, creating agendas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to present qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Experience in a Maternity service is advantageous but not essential.

The post-holder will support the Maternity and Neonatal Team to ensure quality and regulatory compliance, providing evidence-based assurance and supporting the delivery of key standards and regulations.

Qualifications

Experience
