Job summary

IQE PLC in the UK invites a proactive GSM team member to join the Supply Chain function. You will represent GSM in meetings, manage incoming stock and daily production issues, and collaborate across two local facilities to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires warehouse experience, forklift ADR readiness and COSHH awareness. Monday–Friday, with salary up to £32,000 and a commitment to a safe, efficient and collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent GSM in meetings.
• Manage incoming stock and daily production issues promptly.
• Prioritise time management to meet deadlines.
• Execute tasks in a dynamic, team-focused environment.
• Work across two local facilities daily or weekly.
• Handle deliveries to site in a time-sensitive environment.
• Update stock systems with delivery/transaction details.
• Ensure records of quantities and locations are accurate.

About the role

To be part of a dynamic GSM team reporting to the Supply Chain Manager

• Being the representation of GSM in meetings.
• Manage incoming stock and daily production issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Be able to understand the importance of time management
• Executing tasks in a fun dynamic environment
• Work across two local facilities on a daily / weekly basis

Key Responsibilities;

• To handle all deliveries to site in a time sensitive environment
• Issue on daily production items to manufacturing areas as required
• To update all necessary stock systems with all delivery / transaction information
• To ensure all records are accurate with regards to quantities and locations
• To ensure stores area are clean and tidy and the materials are stored appropriately

About you

• Warehouse experience
• Forklift truck and ADR experience current licenses are desirable
• Chemical handling experience / knowledge of COSHH is desirable
