Job summary

IQE plc in Cardiff is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to support the commercial team with order processing, acknowledgment and tracking. You will ensure accurate communication with engineering, quality assurance and logistics to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction.

You will maintain the Salesforce database, generate daily KPIs and help manage after-sales inquiries, coordinating with agents and customers to strengthen relationships and secure repeat business.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales administration or order processing.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with CRM systems.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Order Processing: Checking T&Cs and entering into IQE’s order book.
• Order acknowledgement: Liaising with planning team to ensure timely delivery of order acknowledgements.
• Order Tracking: Managing the order book and monitoring on-time delivery while updating customers.
• Liaising with agents and customers on order-related queries.
• Supporting the commercial team in resolution of after-sales enquiries.
• Providing administrative support to the commercial team.
• Maintaining and updating Salesforce database.
• Preparing, analysing and communicating daily, weekly and monthly KPI performance.
• Adhering to internal safety, HR, environmental and quality guidelines and procedures.

About the role

Supports the commercial team to ensure sales targets are met. Responsible for receiving, processing and acknowledging customer orders. Ensuring all requirements are precisely and accurately communicated to the engineering, quality assurance and logistics team to ensure 100% satisfaction against customer expectations.

Ownership of order tracking, working with planning team to monitor performance against plan and updating customers on order status with focus on maximizing on-time delivery

Account management activities as required to build and strengthen the supplier-buyer relationship and attract repeat business.

Key Responsibilities:

About you

• Sales Administrative work experience is desirable
