Job summary

Siemens Energy Limited, Teal Park, Lincoln, is seeking a Material Resource Planning Controller on a 1-year rolling contract to manage SAP planning data, stock levels, and supplier delivery schedules to support the master production plan.

Hybrid: minimum 3 days in office with occasional UK travel. You will lead supplier business reviews and coordinate onboarding of new parts, driving improvements in Quality, Cost and Delivery to sustain production schedules.

• Role Type: 1-year rolling contract (ASAP start) Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Flexible working with core hours between 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) Travel: Occasional UK-based travel required Duties & Responsibilities: Adjust component planning in response to demand changes and report customer and Supply Chain Management Team (SCMT) impacts to the Team Leader/Purchasing Manager in line with S&OP processes. Maintain master and dynamic planning data in SAP to ensure accurate cascade of demand across the supply chain. Plan and manage stock levels across the supply chain to ensure materials are maintained and used in the correct order and timeframe. Act as the primary operational contact for suppliers on planning, inventory control, delivery, subcontract services, and lead times. Track supplier delivery commitments in SAP, answer inquiries, and resolve schedule line
  exception messages. Coordinate the onboarding of new parts into the supply chain using standard pro-forma processes. Lead regular business reviews with suppliers to assess performance across Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). Evaluate supplier load and capacity constraints to identify potential delivery risks early. Manage delivery issues, track material shortages, establish recovery plans, and expedite potential delivery hazards to meet production schedules. Maintain process compliance through company standard systems, processes, and reports. Essential Requirements: Hands-on working experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, or Logistics. Proven understanding of production planning, controls, and inventory management. Solid working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems. Strong understanding of quality system requirements, IT systems, and process control. Demonstrated ability to serve as the primary interface with suppliers and lead operational relationships.
• Experience managing delivery commitments, tracking schedule lines, and resolving exception messages in ERP systems. Excellent communication skills with a robust, clear approach when dealing with internal stakeholders, teams, and customers. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage delivery issues, material shortages, and recovery plans. Demonstrated behaviors supporting continuous improvement, teamwork, and personal professional development. Desirable Requirements: Proven experience leading formal business reviews with suppliers to analyze metrics across Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD). Experience evaluating supplier load and capacity constraints to proactively prevent supply chain disruptions. Background in coordinating supplier improvement activities regarding inventory control, lead times, and subcontracting.
