Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars in Goodwood invites applications for a Technology, Material and Process Analyst Placement Year. You will engage in laboratory research, develop testing plans and participate in complex investigations across metals, chemistry and process materials.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in materials science, chemistry, or a related field and returning to studies for at least 6 months.
• Previous laboratory experience with material analysis is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Learn laboratory research in an agile environment.
• Develop testing plans and evaluate investigations and analyses in metals, chemistry and process materials.
• Interpret results, generate recommendations and create test reports.
• Support the development and improvement of test methods.
• Collaborate across plants and laboratory locations.
