Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, in Kilkeel, United Kingdom, is seeking an Inventory Planner to join our supply chain team. You will manage and optimise inventory levels, develop material planning parameters, monitor forecasts and drive improvements.

The role requires 2 years’ experience in a comparable role, plus knowledge of SAP/JDE/MRP, and strong Excel and communication skills. We offer generous benefits, private medical insurance and a pension scheme, plus opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in a comparable role.
• 1 year’s working knowledge of SAP, JDE or MRP packages.
• Efficient experience with Microsoft Excell.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise inventory levels in line with business targets and financial plans.
• Develop and maintain material planning parameters, including MRP types, lot sizes and minimum order quantities.
• Monitor inventory forecasts, identify excess, trapped and stranded stock, and drive corrective actions.
• Produce inventory KPI reports and analysis to support business decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance forecast accuracy, reduce inventory and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Master Data and SIOP teams to align inventory plans with business objectives.
• Support supply risk management, scenario planning and production material forecasting.
