Job summary

Deep Sea Electronics Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Operative to collate, pack, despatch and receive goods across the main site and globally. The role requires 2 years in a fast-paced warehouse environment, strong IT skills, and a reliable DBS check.

You will support production planning, handle stock control and ensure high housekeeping standards. Candidates should have GCSEs in Maths and English, be a team player with good communication skills, and be able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in fast paced warehouse environment.
• GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Satisfactory Basic DBS check.
• GCSE maths/English at Cand or above, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collating, packing and despatching of outgoing goods.
• Receiving incoming goods, recording, and stocking.
• Operate warehouse vehicles safely and follow training.
• Loading and unloading of vehicles.
• Maintain housekeeping in warehouse areas.
• Conduct periodic stock counts as required.
• Support production planning to deliver parts to production areas.
• Pick and deliver parts within warehouse to recipients.

To carry out Warehouse processes and functions which will include the dispatching ofoutgoing products, receipting of incoming goods and supply of requested material acrossthe main site and globally

Due to the known consignor duties carried out the operative will need to provide 5 years of work history including confirmation of dates from previous employers where possible. Abasic DBS check will be also be required for this role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for collating, packing and despatching of outgoing goods
• Responsible for ensuring incoming goods are received as ordered, recorded, andstored correctly and safely
• Operating Warehouse vehicles safely, efficiently and in accordance to the externaltraining given
• Loading and unloading of vehicles
• Ensure the housekeeping within the immediate warehouse area and select externalareas are maintained to a high standard
• Collating waste component / packaging material suitable for general waste / recyclingacross the site
• Carrying out periodic stock counts in line with company requirements
• Working in line with Production planning to deliver parts from the Warehouse to allProduction areas
• Pick and deliver requests of parts from the Warehouse to a recipient or department
• Unpack parts ready for Production use
• Deliver finished goods from the Production area to the Warehouse
• Maintain FIFO when picking and putting away product on Warehouse / Productionshelves
• A satisfactory basic DBS check
