Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Lab Manager in Kettering to take full ownership of a busy testing laboratory. You will lead a team of technicians and have a clear progression path into senior leadership.

The role offers a Monday–Friday days-based schedule (8:30–17:30) with a salary of £45,000–£50,000 plus a company vehicle and excellent benefits. Commutable from Corby, Wellingborough, Northampton and nearby towns.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a laboratory in a materials environment.
• Experience with soils or concrete testing.
• Willingness to commute to Kettering and manage day-to-day lab operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the laboratory.
• Manage a team of technicians and plan workloads.
• Audit processes and be the main client contact for the lab.
