Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Lab Manager in Kettering to lead a busy materials testing lab. You will manage a team of technicians, plan workloads and ensure high-quality service for clients. This role offers autonomy with a clear path to senior leadership within a well-established company.

The position is Monday to Friday, 8:30–17:30, based in Kettering with commutable options. A vehicle is included and progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a busy testing lab.
• Proven ability to manage a team of technicians.
• Background in materials testing, soils or concrete preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily laboratory operations and ensure high-quality results.
• Plan and allocate work for the testing team and monitor performance.
• Maintain compliance with lab procedures and safety standards.
