Job summary

Transvac Systems Ltd. in Alfreton, Derbyshire, is seeking a Materials Controller for a 12-month fixed-term contract (potential extension). You will manage goods inwards, stock levels, and certification processes while assisting the Purchasing team with consumables and materials. Forklift operation and local deliveries may be required.

The role involves inventory checks, order processing, and ensuring materials are allocated to jobs with proper segregation, reporting to the Purchasing Manager.

Qualifications

• FLT licence preferred, training available.
• Computer literate, MS Office skills.
• English speaking is required.
• Full driving licence for ad-hoc local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Handle goods inwards and outwards, sign and book collections/deliveries.
• Maintain stock control and conduct regular stock takes.
• Assist Purchasing with procurement of consumables and materials.
• Maintain and manage material certification process.
• Allocate materials to jobs and ensure proper segregation of stock.
• Operate forklift for loading and unloading deliveries.
