Job summary

ALL.SPACE is seeking a Materials Controller to oversee receipt, storage, control, and distribution of materials to support efficient inventory management and operations. The role focuses on accurate stock records, timely replenishment, and compliance with procedures and regulatory requirements.

The position involves verifying goods on arrival, inspecting for damage, labeling and storing stock, and issuing materials to internal departments or customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse stock control and goods handling.
• Proficiency with ERP/WMS systems and stock recording.
• Forklift experience and safe operation practices.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in stock records.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and check incoming goods against delivery notes.
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies.
• Label, store, and organize stock in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and issue materials to internal departments or customers.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update ERP/WMS systems.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock audits.
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock to supervisors.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials, including hazardous items if applicable.
• Keep the store/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts) where licensed.
• Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with returns, damaged goods processing, and disposal procedures.

The role ensures accurate stock records, timely replenishment, and compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

• Receive, unload, and check incoming goods against delivery notes and purchase orders
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Label, store, and organize stock in designated locations
• Pick, pack, and issue materials to internal departments or customers
• Maintain accurate stock records (manual or system-based)
• Update inventory systems (ERP/WMS) as required
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock audits
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock to supervisors
• Ensure proper handling and storage of materials (including hazardous items if applicable)
• Keep the store/warehouse clean, organized, and safe
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) where licensed
• Follow company health & safety procedures at all times
• Assist with returns, damaged goods processing, and disposal procedures
