Qualifications

Material Controller - Goods In/Warehouse Administrator
Scunthorpe, United Kingdom

Main Function / Purpose of Job

• Ensure adherence to site and departmental health and safety rules.
• Ensure compliance with all site SOPs.
• Perform all aspects of goods-in receiving.
• Ensure timely delivery of BOP and materials to all business areas to prevent downtime.
• Adhere to FIFO process.
• Maintain location control using scanning systems accurately and promptly.
• Perform colour/tool changes within required timeframes to avoid unnecessary downtime.

Principal Accountabilities

• Ensure compliance with health & safety rules of the site/department.
• Register, unload, and check BOP deliveries promptly and accurately.
• Perform put-away of BOP via scanning (RFgen) system within required timeframes.
• Complete pre-kitting for production and service to meet the 3-hour rule.
• Avoid downtime caused by incorrect or delayed delivery of BOP and materials.
• Support other areas of MPL as needed.
• Conduct accurate cycle counts upon request.

Key Measurable Results

• No downtime due to late BOP/material delivery – KPI.
• All vehicles recorded upon arrival – KPI.
• FIFO process followed.
