Job summary

CV Library is seeking an experienced Material Controller / Storeman for a major infrastructure project based in Friston. This long-term role offers steady work within a busy construction team on a high-profile site.

You will handle deliveries, station stores, issue materials, monitor stock, operate forklifts where licensed, and ensure all stores meet H&S standards. Weekly pay and an immediate start are available.

Qualifications

• Experience as Material Controller/Storeman on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills.
• CSCS GOLD Card; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable.

CV Library is recruiting an experienced Material Controller / Storeman for a major infrastructure project based in Friston.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries
• Managing site stores and maintaining accurate stock records
• Issuing materials, tools and PPE to site personnel
• Monitoring stock levels and ordering replacements when required
• Operating forklifts (where licensed)
• Ensuring stores are kept organised, secure and compliant with H&S procedures
• Liaising with suppliers, site management and logistics teams
• Completing delivery notes and inventory documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Material Controller, Storeman or Stores Operative on a construction or infrastructure project
• Strong organisational and record-keeping skills
• Good understanding of site logistics and material control
• CPCS/NPORS Forklift Ticket (desirable but not essential)
• CSCS GOLD Card
• SSSTS/SMSTS
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
