Job summary

MERITUS are recruiting a Stores Operative to join a leading Systems Integration Consultancy, supporting the efficient management of materials, inventory and tooling to ensure the successful delivery of control panels and electrical systems for critical infrastructure projects.

Based in Stone, Staffordshire, you will receive deliveries, maintain accurate records, issue materials to production teams and help keep a safe, well-organised stores area while supporting calibration and PPE control.

Qualifications

• Experience in stores, warehouse or materials control.
• Good organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Experience using computerised inventory or ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with production and engineering teams.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process deliveries, ensuring all documentation is accurate and recorded within the ERP system.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Issue materials, components and consumables to production teams while maintaining full traceability.
• Liaise with production and engineering teams to ensure materials are available in line with project schedules.
• Order and maintain stock levels of consumables where required.
• Control the issue of PPE and maintain associated records.
• Manage the calibration process for tools and equipment, ensuring calibration records remain up to date.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe stores environment.

MATERIAL CONTROLLER - £NEG (ENQUIRE FOR DETAILS) - STONE, STAFFORDSHIRE

We're looking for an organised and proactive Material Controller to support the day-to-day running of the stores function. You'll play a key role in receiving deliveries, managing inventory, issuing materials to production teams and maintaining accurate records, helping ensure engineering projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Desirable:

• Knowledge of electrical components or an electrical engineering background.
• Previous experience using Microsoft Nav ERP.
• Experience working within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
