Job summary

GE Vernova at the Dogger Bank wind farm onshore base seeks a stores/materials coordinator to support the maintenance of Haliade-X offshore wind turbines by coordinating parts and direct materials.

You will work with Logistics, Warehousing, Sourcing and internal teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and stock accuracy is maintained, while supporting forward planning and documentation. This is an on-site role Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in materials management, parts coordination or inventory control within a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in materials planning or inventory control within a maintenance-related environment.
• Strong procurement, inventory management and logistics coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
• Experience using ERP systems to manage stock or orders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day supply of parts and direct materials to support the maintenance of GE’s Haliade-X wind turbine generators.
• Coordinate the movement of materials across the central warehouse, onshore base and offshore locations.
• Analyse demand, consumption and stock data to raise orders and support material planning.
• Work with Logistics, Warehousing, Sourcing and internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage inventory at the O&M base with accurate stock records and controls.
• Carry out regular stock checks and audits to align physical inventory with system records.
• Support forecasting and forward planning of material requirements.
• Maintain documentation and system records relating to stock, movements, orders and inventory status.
• Ensure material availability aligns with work orders and operational requirements.
• Assist with damaged parts, returns and material-related quality issues and resolve accordingly.
• Ensure all material coordination activities comply with processes, controls and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve material control and day-to-day stock flow.
