Job summary

The Best Connection Group is recruiting a Materials Control Administrator to join a busy manufacturing materials team. The role supports supply chain and procurement activities, managing invoices, scrap processes, SAP reporting, and part number maintenance.

A strong, organised administrator with ERP experience and excellent stakeholder communication is needed. This position offers ongoing assignments and the chance to develop in a busy, detail-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Organised and detail-focused administrator.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience within a manufacturing or stores environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing and resolving invoice queries.
• Supporting scrap processes, including BER and goods lost in transit.
• Maintaining accurate materials data and records.
• Producing and distributing SAP reports.
• Managing Stock Transport Order (STO) order books.
• Creating and maintaining part numbers.
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Strong Experience using SAP or other ERP systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
