Job summary

CuspAI is scaling its scientific intelligence and data curation capabilities by training and evaluating foundation models for materials discovery. You will own end-to-end development of models, from data design to training at scale and integration into the platform.

Join a collaborative team bridging AI research, computational chemistry, and experimental science to push the boundaries of multi-modal representations and materials informatics.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering skills with a track record of building scalable systems.
• Hands-on experience training or evaluating large models in distributed settings.
• Depth in representation learning, vision, or LLM pre/post-training at scale.
• Interest in AI applications to materials science or chemistry.
• Master’s/PhD in CS/ML or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and run large-scale experiments to compare modelling choices.
• Lead parallel multi-modal model training on GPU clusters.
• Ensure scalable, reliable software engineering practices across pipelines.
• Collaborate with chemists and materials scientists to integrate workflows.
