Job summary

Airbus Atlas Support Centre at RAF Brize Norton is seeking a Material Inventory Controller to join a hands-on logistics team. The role is 100% onsite, 35 hours per week, with a 6‑month contract and potential extension.

You will manage material movements, perform stock checks, and ensure accurate SAP records to support maintenance and flying programmes. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented mindset, a valid driving licence, and experience in warehouse systems.

Qualifications

• Carry out picking, packing, and stock handling activities with accuracy
• Ensure all system transactions and documentation are completed correctly (SAP and warehouse systems)
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure correct storage of materials
• Support inbound and outbound warehouse operations
• Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Identify and elevate any process or system issues to the management team
• Collaborate with colleagues across warehouse and logistics functions

Material Inventory Controller

Location: RAF Brize Norton, Oxfordshire (100% onsite)

Contract: 6 months (likely extension)

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, between 07:00-19:00)

Pay Rate: £18.30 PAYE / £24.47 Umbrella per hour

Clearance: BPSS+ (with ability to obtain SC clearance if required)

About the Opportunity

Guidant Global is working in partnership with Airbus to recruit Material Inventory Controllers to join the Airbus Atlas Support Centre at RAF Brize Norton.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical national defence programme, supporting the Royal Air Force to maintain the airworthiness and readiness of its fleet both in the UK and overseas. The work you do will directly support essential operations, making a tangible impact on public safety and national security.

Essential:

Desirable:

• Forklift (Counterbalance/Reach) licence
• Knowledge of EASA Part 145 or similar regulatory environments
• Understanding of COSHH regulations
